Absolutely fabulous bread, definitely one of the best bakeries in Tokyo. They bring their flour directly from France and tornade (like a twisty baguette) is excellent. If you are a bread fan this is definitely the place to go. I have only eaten at the restaurant section once and the food was quite good, very authentic. They also have a branch in Shibuya. Highly recommended if you are looking for high quality french bread.
MoreThe pastry was good. But maybe I need to ask for them to reheat. Because it was darn cold
MoreVery good selection of French bread. Great taste! Always very crowded and a little pricey, but worth it!
MoreSo FrenchAwesome brassiere! You feel in France.Even the radio is in french. (You have to put attention because You barely hear it )The quality of the food is absolutely great. The waiter told me they bring the flour and some other ingredients from France. (Which I believe because the taste of the bread is identical to the baguettes in France)The onion soup also is even better than some soups in France. The espressos are also superb, so creamy. (Lavazza)And the quality of the service and friendliness of the staff makes this an unforgettable meal.Congratulations.
MoreI like this one just like any of their other bakeries. The breads here are simply great. But you should have a knack of taste of French bread. Breads with stuffings are great as are plain breads. I like all sorts here. Bread with wallnuts, with honey and blue cheese is specially good. Makes my mouth water each time I think of them. Anyways must try if you are around.
MorePricey, but one of the best bakeries in Tokyo.
I had a lunch in Wed afternoon and only few people were in this place. It's quite cozy and the waiter was quite nice. The lunch menu set we're good and the fries is so delicious!
MoreFood is good, service is bad (especially for Japan). Every time I try to go there, there is "something" - long wait in confined places, ordering requirements, missing menu items, etc. And we are being told off in uncompromising tone. The staff is inflexible and borderline rude. My wife likes the food, but I'm trying to avoid the place if there are alternatives. Also, it isn't exactly cheap.
More...paying for drinks at this cafe (on the checkout), they told me that cards can be accepted only from 3000 yen's order. I had my own plans for the cash, I think it's a hidden extortion of cash-money, need to warn visitors BEFORE the order.
MoreGood foods, but about $15~$20 for a lunch.
Walked by after dinner, couldn't resist, so bought a few pastries which looked delicious! Both flavors were pretty good, not too sweet. Textures were too dense though. Maybe will try the restaurant next!
MoreI buy sandwiches 3 years ago and get cockroaches inside. It was still a live. They pay me back and try to call to apologize however cant forgot this bad time...I hope they clean better the shop now
MoreI came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. I reserved dinner for us and I asked if they could make desert for her but it was on that day so I couldn’t. Food was really good. They gave us explanations of menu, like where it came from and good with wine etc... when we ordered deserts (mine was parfait and hers was gâteau chocolat ), who expected?? They brought her decorated cake for her birthday!!! We’re surprised and she looked happy. The service was great, I would love to come here again!! Next time I’ll come here with my mom :)
MoreLovely. Nice, crispy baguette. Had a salad from the daily specials and it was good.
MoreThe bakery was good but not great. The worst part is it was freezing cold outside but they won't let us eat inside because the seating area is not yet open, it's freakin 10.30 in the morning and we have 2 and 4 yr old with us. Never mind i was gonna give 2 stars but I'll settle with one star for the service
MoreI would say the breads and certain desserts are wonderful and highly recommended. The lunch meal is not very impressive though.
MoreGood bread, the worst and rude service. Would never go back again! Ruined our enjoyable gathering.
MoreWent there for dinner about one month ago. Located in one of the top commercial buildings at Marunouchi, it is very close to Tokyo Station. It is very convenient for a tourist, especially if you stay in this area. Layout is like a typical French bistro with its own bakery. Staff can communicate in English. Service was good. Quality of food was nice and price was reasonable. On the date of my visit, a Wednesday evening, it was full. It was well patronised by locals. I think the apple pie was an excellent choice to end the dinner. Will consider a revisit if I am in the area.
MoreSavory baguette and good coffee. It would be better if it was warm. The sandwiche was good but if I visit again, I will try only baguette to feel the flavor of well leavened bread.
MoreThe real French bistro deal, usually some poirée fish and meat / pork roast type of daily special. Best baguette in town, all you can eat during lunch time. They did increase their lunch prices significantly (2000 jpy or higher) for equally small portions. But that means fewer people, shorter wait times. The terrace is nice and shady during the hot summer months.
MoreSteak-frites? Crusty baguette? Éclair au café? Chausson aux pommes? All so good and authentic. A little pricey, but it was worth it.Our waiter spoke some French, and service was excellent.
MoreA bit overpriced, but I am still giving this a five star rating because of the authenticity. You feel like you are in a bistro in Paris. My French wife and I agree that the bread and drinks are just like in France.
